This trio's final album so far. A unique mixture of 00s Death Metal, the band stays on the dark and violent side of the thing while incorporating some technical elements and great percusive playing. There is also a flavour of Morbid Angel's Heretic era riffs (there are some jawdropping riffs on Heretic in the first three songs, so beware), that most bands do not tap in. There is more to this. Very interesting material that went under the radars. Especially some typical stuff that has been implemented by Kobong (or Voivoid if you do not know the aforementioned). Recommended. Some members from Cortege continue in the band Weak and Mortal but that is a different chapter. Recognize CORTEGE now.
