Emerging in 2025 from the lands of northern France, Phileas stands as an invitation to a journey through dark and melancholic soundscapes.
Free from all constraints, the project explores a personal path within black metal, shaping a singular, introspective work, deliberately set apart from the beaten track.
The album is built around the painting by "Peter Paul Rubens" (1577-1640), The Fall of the Damned.
The Fall of the Damned does not depict hell itself, but the moment when every possibility of salvation disappears.
The bodies are not yet punished — they are already lost.
The fall becomes a condemnation in its own right, an irreversible movement toward the abyss.
The music follows this descent: from an initial glimmer of light, it slowly slips into darkness, until complete erasure.
A long, painful, inexorable fall.
